Breakthrough results rarely come when a homogenous group of people get together and validate their own thinking. Our work with physicians and physician leaders requires a different kind of conversation where diverse voices intersect. We believe breakthrough results happen at the intersection.
The Balanced Physician programs were developed as a new kind of partnership designed to deliver powerful solutions to healthcare providers at the intersection of coaching, consulting, and learning. They are exceptional tools and methodologies to:
- Improve performance
- Strengthen communication and teamwork
- Experience work-life balance
- Regain a sense of control in life again
- Make meaningful contributions to patients, staff members, administrators and families
The Balanced Physician program evolved over the years to fill the need for a proactive personal and practice development support for healthcare providers and their teams. We challenge them to become more effective in their career; we encourage them to experience more work-life balance. We support them to be their personal best. It's that simple.
About Coaching
Unlike psychology or psychiatry, coaching roots in a wellness/full-potential approach. It doesn’t lead to a diagnosis, nor do coaching services need to be reported on license or hospital applications. It is about supporting physicians to play a bigger game in their practice and in their life with quick and successful results and fewer setbacks.
Meet Iris Grimm

As the creator of the Balanced Physician programs, Iris has coached hundreds of physicians and physician leaders in building strong personal and interpersonal skills that consistently improve their performance, well-being and behavior and contain costs in a variety of healthcare organizations.
Iris models and teaches self-management and interpersonal qualities of leadership and performance in practical ways that physicians and executives connect with personally, and she coaches them to refine these skills through ongoing support and follow-up.
